June 29th, 2008 (Day 5)

(11:00 a.m.) - Boat Time

Liz woke up early this morning and she ran up to get coffee. I woke up a little later and we both went to breakfast at the Windjammer Cafe. It was another buffet that was pretty good. I had all of the bad stuff that you are not supposed to eat, but it was great.

After that, we layed out in the sun reading for about 3 hours where I would occationally dip in the pool. The sunscreen we had was probably not waterproof because even though we had it on, both of us got really really sunburnt. Me more than Liz.

There was a lot of people sunbathing today and a lot topless people. Crazy Europeans! We had lunch again for buffet and it was pretty good as buffets go. I had some sandwiches and stuff. For most of the rest of the day we just treated our sunburns and read some more. It was very lazy and really relaxing.

(11:00 p.m.) - Boat Time

Tonight was formal night on the boat for dinner, so I had to wear a suit and Liz had to wear a dress. We are giving the King & I dinning room one more chance, since last night sucked.

We went to dinner and I had the lobster bisque, fillet of steak, and a sugar-free coconut and vanilla cake. It was really good, much better than the night before. Liz had the shrimp cocktail, the roasted duck, and a citrus soufflé. The service was a lot better than the day before. Liz and I also got a bottle of French wine to celebrate exactly one week of marriage. There was a lot of photo opportunities tonight, but we didn't do them because they are stupid and we are not paying. After dinner, we went to bed. More tomorrow from Athens...
